Tom's Trust - This Years Charity

Christmas is the time for love and joy and most importantly; the time to support those who are in need. That’s why we run this event each year will all proceed going directly to our chosen charity which for 2023 is Tom’s Trust.

Tom’s Trust is the UK’s only charity dedicated to providing mental health support to children with brain tumours and their families to improve their quality of life and wellbeing. Our clinical psychologists work in hospitals across the UK, helping children from diagnosis and continuing that support as their needs change. By providing mental health support at the point of diagnosis and beyond, we provide the best chance for children to get back to school, resume their lives and go on to achieve their full potential.

"We are so grateful to everyone who has helped to organise and got involved with Christmas Carols on the River and we are so thrilled that Tom’s Trust has been picked as the chosen charity. We’ve been supporting families following a child’s devastating brain tumour diagnosis for over a decade in Cambridge, but there is so much more to be done to give them the support they need at such a difficult time. The money raised will be a huge boost for our work and make a real difference to families, especially for those who are in hospital over Christmas. We hope everyone enjoys this unique festive event".

Carols For a Good Cause

This is our 5th year of running Carols on the River with the incredible St John the Evangelist Choir.

In 2018 we raised an incredible £572 for Amnesty International and in 2019 we raised an impressive £553 for EACH. After a break in 2020 due to COVID, we came back stronger and raise a fantastic £770 for Blue Smile in 2021 and £830 for Cambridge Aid in 2022. Lets see what we can achieve this year!

In addition, each year, we donate £120 to the amazing St John the Evangelist Church Choir which was used to support their homelessness project.

This year we have chosen Tom’s Trust as it is a local charity provising invlauable support to children and thier families.

Remember 100% of ticket sales will go to Tom’s Trust.
