Hen Party Punting

There is an abundance of activities in Cambridge, which are perfect for Hen Parties, but punting is definitely the number one.

Enjoy a luxurious 50-minute private punt tour with one of our charming chauffeurs, during which they will give you as much, or as little of the tour as you would like – it’s a private punting tour so the choice is yours. Your chauffeur will effortlessly glide you along the River Cam so you can soak up the sights; but if this all sounds a bit too relaxing, then you are more than welcome to try punting for yourselves – under the expert guidance of your chauffeur of course!

Whilst we can organise picnics and drinks for you (see below), you are also welcome to bring your own food and drinks on the punt with you – we just ask that you take your rubbish away with you after the tour! There is a Wine Merchants and a number of food & drink establishments on the Quayside where you can purchase food & chilled drinks before boarding if you don’t want to bring them with you. (If you are bringing drinks please bring plastic cups/flutes).

Know Before You Go

50-minute private tours, maximum 12 passengers per punt. For groups larger than 12 multiple boats will be needed. Return trip starting from and returning to the corner of Jesus Green.

Tours are booked for a specific time. Late arrival will result in a missed or shortened tour.

You are welcome to bring food and drinks on board.

Tours booked online are paid for in full at the time of booking. If you would prefer to pay a 30% deposit with the balance due 2 weeks before the booking date please CONTACT US.

We do go ahead in poor weather. If requested by you we will aim to reschedule wherever possible. If you cancel due to poor weather you will be eligible for a 70% refund. More information can be found here: Terms & Conditions.

Punting Picnics

The perfect activity in Cambridge for the more discerning Hen Party. Choose from the 3 different picnics we offer;

Afternoon Tea, £19.50 per person. A selction of finger sandwhiches, scones with Jam & Cream, Tiffin, Lemon Drizzle Cake & Lemon Tarts. All seved with a sparkling coridal.
Deli Grazing Board, £15 per person. A divine grazing board with locally sourced cheeses, fruit, antipasti, charcuterie, crackers, nuts and dried fruits, and homemade fig chutney.
The Brunch Box, £14 per person. A delicious snacking box including freshly baked pastries and waffles, yogurt with granola and berries, fruits, jams and nutella.

You can enjoy picnics on board or on Jesus Green before or after your private hen party punting tour.

Prosecco Punting

Whilst you are very welcome to bring your own drinks on board we know this isn’t always convenient.

We can supply the following for you to enjoy during your chauffeured punting tour of Cambridge:

Spumante Prosecco – £25 a bottle
Paul Langlier Champagne- £45 a bottle
Bell & Co Alcohol-free prosecco- £15 a bottle

Once you have selected your punting tour time and date simply add the drinks you would like.

All drinks are supplied chilled with plastic glasses. Please note there is a maximum order of half a bottle of prosecco or champagne per adult.

Scavenger Hunts

Pricing: £60 for 2 team packs, additional team packs £20.
Recommended: 5-8 people per team.

Our Cambridge City Centre Scavenger Hunt is the perfect accompaniment to your Hen Party Punting Tour. We suggest allowing 2 hours to complete the scavenger hunt which starts just off the market square. The hunt is self-run and everything that you need to posted out to you in advance of the party date (including a sealed answers envelope).

Scavenger hunts are great fun and can be a brilliant way for different members of the party to get to know each other whilst also exploring Cambridge and competing against the other team(s).

There will be an opportunity to add a scavenger hunt to your booking once you have selected your punting departure time.

City Escape Games

A new twist on the traditional scavenger hunt. Solve the cryptic clues to complete the challenge whilst exploring some of Cambridge’s top sights. There are 2 games to choose from: The Society or Time Travel Teacher, both priced at £24.99 per team. We’d recommend 2-6 players per team. Games are not time limited but take an average of 90 minutes to complete and all you need is a smart phone.
