How to Find Us

How to find us to check-in for a Private or Shared tour?

Please come to our ‘Let’s Go Punting’ check-in location at:

La Mimosa Landing Stage, CB5 8AG.

To purchase your tickets on the day, please come to the Quayside, CB5 8AB, near Las Iguanas.

If you have any problems finding our location on the day, please call our office on 01223 651 659.  Alternatively, you can contact the station manager on 07475 834 954.

Please note there is no parking directly at the punting location. Please see below the map for parking options.

Park and Ride

The easiest way to visit Cambridge by car is by using one of the 5 Park and Ride sites surrounding the city. The site best for you will depend on where you are coming from. The buses from the park and ride all go to Drummer Street as indicated on the map above, from there it is a 10 minute walk to our location. The Bus from the Madingley Park and Ride stops on Bridge street – 5 minute from our location. Information on all of the Park and Ride sites can be found here: Park and Ride – Cambridge.

City Centre Parking

There are a number of multi story car parks in the city Centre, and our closest one is Park Street, (indicated on the map above). Park Street Car Park is a short 5 minutes walk from our check-in desk.

Please note that traffic can be extremely heavy in Cambridge city Centre, especially at the weekends. Please leave plenty of time to complete your journey to avoid arriving late.

There are also 2-hour Pay and Display bays on Pound Hill and Chesterton Lane, which are free after 5pm.

From the train station, take any bus into the city Centre. From the main city Centre bus terminal (Drummer St) our punt station is a 10 minute walk along Bridge Street.  Alternatively you can walk (30 minutes), or take a taxi from the station. From the city centre, ask any local for directions to the Quayside / La Mimosa Restaurant.

The nearest coach drop off point on Chesterton Lane CB4 3AN (outside the Arundel House Hotel), which is a 2 minute walk from our Punt departure point at La Mimosa.
