Making Samosas with Inders Kitchen

As part of the fantastic Eat Cambridge food festival Lets Go Punting went along to learn about Indian food at Inders Kitchen.

During the 2 hour session Inder herself taught us some secrets of Indian cuisine to help us create perfect samosas, tasty potato cakes and some simple dips packed full of flavour.

Below is a video of Caroline having a go at mastering the tricky Samosa folding technique. We also picked up some great tips, such as adding lemon juice to pastry to achieve a crispy texture and using a simple flour and water mix to bind the pastry.

The food was really delicious, if you want to try it for yourself Inders Kitchen deliver to the Cambridge area 7 days a week. For something really special why not enjoy an Inders Kitchen feast onboard one of our Chauffeured Punts – a wonderful way to spend a summers evening. Please contact us for further information.

It was a great way to spend a few hours on a wet and grey Sunday and a fabulous edition to Eat Cambridge. We were also lucky enough to take a couple of hours away from the river on Saturday and visit the Eat Cambridge main event in the guildhall. So fantastic to see so many fabulous independent foodie businesses!
