I had the pleasure of taking my first Punting Trip of 2012 yesterday in the glorious Spring Sunshine…
With the sun shinning over head I enjoyed a wonderful relaxing afternoon being punted up an down the Cam, with a cheeky G&T at the Granta of course….
Despite talking punting all day I still love being out on the River in Cambridge, Punting has to be one of the most relaxing ways to spend the afternoon… especially early in the season when the river is quiet!
You may be surprised to know that even in high summer the River can be surprisingly quiet after 6pm. As a local resident it is undoubtedly the best time to go punting and enjoy a tour of Cambridge.
