We love ‘Music on the River’ for several reasons… punting, sunset on the river, breathtaking scenery, live music, catchy melodies, but most importantly: unique, talented musicians on board!
So far we had Max Bianco, who looks and sounds like he is from a different era and Ukulele Simon, who is simply fabulous, no matter what he plays.
This time we welcomed the Rosswell band, Jasmine and Zoё, a Folk/Americana duo. Since their first gig together in March 2018, the girls won Purbeck Valley Folk Festival’s new artist competition Purbeck Rising 2018, had their debut single ‘Heaven Knows’ selected for Fatea’s Winter Showcase Session, and recorded their debut EP Remedy at the Roundhouse in London, which was released in March.
As always, we would like to say a special thank you to The Punt and Pole, who provided the finest drinks to our guests during the evening, and to all the lovely people who came to this fantastic event.
