Morning Punting
First of all, by choosing to join us on the river for a tour which departs before 11am, you will experience the river in the very best way possible, when it’s at its quietest. It really is a lovely peaceful time to be on the water and as we are able to offer our very lowest rates you are also bagging yourself a bargain.
Simply book a private or shared chauffeured punting tour below (departing between 9.15 am and 10.45 am) and you will be looking at the best rate available for the day. We do charge a little more for our weekend tours but you will still find that our prices are extremely competitive compared to other Cambridge punting companies.

Our Early Bird offer is perfect for families with young children who likely to be up and out early making the most of the day. Our chauffeured punting tours in Cambridge are the perfect activity for a family day out in Cambridge and chauffeured punt tours are safe for children of all ages.
Know Before You Go
No queuing.Simply wait on Jesus Green until you receive our SMS depature alert when we are ready to load your boat.
Tours are booked for a specific time. Late arrival will result in a missed or shortened tour.
You are welcome to bring food and drinks on board.
Punting is family-friendly and prams and buggies can be left at our check-in area (at your own risk).
We do go ahead in poor weather. If requested by you we will aim to reschedule wherever possible. If you cancel due to poor weather you will be eligible for a 70% refund. More information can be found here: Terms & Conditions.

Michel Sindaha21/04/2024Good, reliable service. The sales people here are less aggressive as some others on the plank by the river. Big surprise for a town like Cambridge—you’d expect a certain standard considering its history and academic prestige—but beware of predatory sales techniques by these seeming young and innocent college chaps on the board by the river. I was aggressively approached and haggled with a couple that reminded me of my experiences in Cairo rather than Cambridge. Book online, or at least check so as not to be swindled to pay more than you need to.

Punting in Cambridge with kids
Whilst punting is an extremely safe activity, Children’s life jackets are available on request. If you would like a life jacket please do let us know and we will be sure to have one ready for your tour with us.
Whether you book a private or shared tour with us the kids will have a great time out on the river. From spotting swans, ducks and other wildlife to punting under weeping willows and low bridges theres plenty to keep them entertained!

Chauffeured Cambridge Punting Tours
Our Cambridge Punting tours cover the ‘College Backs’ and pass seven of the most famous riverside Colleges; Magdalene, St Johns, Trinitiy, Trinity Hall, Clare, Kings and Queens. Your chauffeur will provide an interesting and informative speech whilst you glide along the River Cam.
Sit back, relax and enjoy one of our award winning chauffeured tours, lasting approximately 50 minutes. The earlier in the day that you book the quieter the river is likely to be adding to your chauffuered punting experience in Cambridge.
During the summer tours depart from 9.15am but if you are looking for something even earlier please do contact us and we will be happy to assist.
